JANET MobileIPv6 Live CD Release Notes -- Version 0.1

Introduction
------------
The MobileIPv6 Live CD is a self-contained Linux distribution which boots from CD and is capable of acting either as a Home Agent or Mobile Node.  The release takes the form of a bootable ISO image that contains Ubuntu 8.04 LTS release operating system, the services as well as any requested applications and their dependent libraries.

The ISO image does *not* require you to install any software on your PC.

- Initial *UNTESTED* release and early Alpha prototype of the DVD (Due to the untested nature of the DVD it is recommended you do not use this on ANY live network).
- Basic HA and MN functionality available
- Requires manual configuration of setup files

Installation and Configuration Notes
------------------------------------

1. Burn the ISO file to a DVD
2. Boot the DVD
3. Login as the user "mipuser" with the password "mipuser"
4. Open up a terminal  (Applications --> Accessories --> Terminal)
5. Edit the correct configuration file dependent upon the requirements
   a. Home Agent  
        #sudo vim start_ha.sh
   b. Mobile Node 
        #sudo vim start_mn.sh
6. Change the configuration settings as required, save and exit the editor
7. Launch either the Mobile Node or Home Agent icon from the desktop.
